Pregnancy and beyond

You may be here because you have experienced loss on your journey to parenthood, have had a traumatic birth or struggling with your mental health since becoming a parent.

The transition to parenthood is a huge life changing event, not only in adjusting to bringing a child into the world, but also the myriad of emotions and memories it can bring up. Sometimes becoming a parent brings to the surface memories of our own experiences of being a child or past childhood trauma.

These experiences can exacerbate feelings of anxiety or depression or even trigger such feelings. This can feel hard to make sense of, particularly when we think we were not expecting to feel this way or think we should feel a different way.

We are here to support you. We offer specialist support to mothers and fathers at any point on the journey to becoming a parent or during parenthood.
