Dad's Mental Health
The Psychology Project is here to support dads too. We know that the transition to parenthood can impact dads as well as mums, both pre and postnatally, yet there is very little space for dads in conventional services to process this.

We know that it can feel harder for dads to reach out for support, often because there is a lot more stigma and shame around men talking about their mental health or being seen to access psychological therapy. We also know that the mental health of dads is just as important as mums mental health.
Some of the reasons dads seek support are as a result of distress caused through witnessing the birth of their child, feeling anxious and overwhelmed about becoming or worrying about repeating experiences they may have had.

We are here to support you to explore and process this and find a way to move past it, so that you can become the parent you want to be.
Get in touch through our contact us page to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call. We will call to introduce ourselves and discuss how we can support you.
If it feels right for you we can then schedule further sessions.
